Melting Snowman Flash

Flash animation I did for my college Flash class.

once upon a November night
i decided to check deviant art
i sat down at the edge of my bed with laptop near by
and let out a relieving fart

i had held it for a while as i played my newest game
the one called Dragon age
it is pretty good but not as cool as i had hoped
and the only class i like is the mage

but back to my subject even though it is really off topic
i logged into my deviant name
surfed the newest submissions for a few pages
before deciding most of them were just lame

dismayed i sorted through my DevWatch deviations
good ones kept, a bad one chuck it
i went back to DA main page and saw a great meme
"Bitches be stealin mah bucket!"

i decided to check the forums
projects and art scene are all i really like
replied to one about the scrap feature, one about inspiration
mostly with meaningless tripe

i then happened upon a contest
make literature about a snowman melting made me think
i wasn't really into literature or making a poem
but i remembered this flash project i did 2 years ago [link]

i found it deep within the recesses of my old school folder
i uploaded the .swf then the .jpeg and then hit submit
i [link] ed it to the thread
at that time i didn't care much to commit

"OMG SO CUTE!" the poster said
"I'm totally putting that up on the journal hahaha"
i told how i made it years ago
we talked blah blah blah

he said he hoped i would enter
but i didn't really care
i whent to take a shower
it struck me while i was washing my hair

i could make a short ditty about the squirrels
back then they were my signature theme
but then i discarded it due to lazyness
but remembered that walrus meme!

what if i made the poem
about what led up to it all in the beginning
it would give me something to do until i went to bed
even if i didn't end up winning

it is 3:30 in the morning
U.S. Eastern time
and i have been able to tell you this story
and packed it into a rhyme

but it occurs to me that i haven't followed the rules
i gave no just cause to the melting snow man
but i don't remember why he melted 2 years ago
and i kinda don't give a damn

but i came so far and thought so hard
it would be a shame not to finish it
with little patience left i resort to a rant
that's the only way i can finish this shit

do you really want to know why this snowman melted?
because on the subject of global warming i won't hold my tongue
Al Gore's pompous ass melted the snow man
the dick flies around the world on a gas guzzling private jet then tells us to drive our cars less "for the planet's sake" then eats steaks and burgers like crazy even though PETA has bitched about how the meat industry causes like 7 times as much CO2 emissions as all the worlds automobiles put together then when you tell him his movie that boxed more then i will make in my lifetime is half lies he cuts your mic and now one of the top scientists in the world in the climate field has released results that took 20 years to gather that proves just the opposite of what all these liberal band wagon scientists said "should" happen but nobody cares because theres more money to be had with the THEORY of global warming than with the realization that the earth will never stay constant until the day its core goes out in a few billion years so i would just like to say i hope Al Gore takes his millions of dollars flies to japan and chases after a cobe beef bull only to trip and fall face first into a pile of dung
